Dense Phase Powder Transfer Systems

Dustex is designed to handle dust and fine particles efficiently, ensuring a cleaner, safer, and more controlled working environment. Unlike traditional systems, Dustex operates with optimized airflow under 10 m/s and vacuum levels above 800 mbar, allowing dust particles to be captured and contained without dispersing into the atmosphere.

This solution maintains product integrity by collecting dust in compact “plugs,” preventing contamination and improving air quality in sensitive production areas. With high vacuum performance at a low flow rate, Dustex ensures both efficiency and safety in handling dry powders and fine materials.

The Dustex hopper, made from stainless steel AISI 316L (mirror polished), comes in different capacities (9 or 15 liters) and can be paired with high-vacuum pumps available in painted or stainless-steel housing with varying power options.

Dustex is especially suitable for industries such as pharmaceutical, chemical, and food, where dust-free environments are critical. RGS also provides complete customized systems with loading cells and dosing solutions tailored to customer requirements.

Dense Phase Transfer System

Key Advantages

Gentle Product Handling – Prevents degradation, segregation, or breakage of fragile materials.

Reduced Air Consumption – Operates with lower air velocity, saving energy and reducing operating costs.

Maintains Product Homogeneity – Ensures powders and blends remain consistent during transfer.

Minimal Wear & Tear – Low conveying speed reduces pipeline erosion and equipment maintenance.

Longer Conveying Distances – Capable of transporting materials over extended pipelines efficiently.

Dust-Free & Cleaner Operation – Ensures better containment, minimizing environmental and workplace dust.

Suitable for Difficult Materials – Ideal for handling abrasive, sticky, or fragile products.

Improved Safety – Less risk of explosion due to controlled conveying conditions.
